    Free uses your device's built-in voice (offline, instant). Server uses a local Piper TTS — natural English, no quota cost. GPT routes through OpenRouter for premium voice — counts against API quota.

    Slows down sentence audio in Server mode (Piper). Higher value = slower articulation. Single-word vocab playback is unaffected.

    Pronounce the English word automatically when a card opens (Receptive) or flips to the answer (Productive).

    Notifications

    Get a notification around 9:00 MSK when you have cards waiting. iOS: install to home screen first. Notifications appear only after the system permission prompt is granted.
